Hi, I’m Roberto
Soy una persona que disfruta viajando. Soy profesor de español para extranjeros y guía de montaña, pero sobre todo, me encanta explorar, tanto lugares como personas.
Monto en bicicleta desde los tres años y creo que nunca lo he dejado del todo. De los 10 a los 25 años formé parte de equipos ciclistas, llegando incluso a un nivel semiprofesional. Hoy en día, sigo disfrutando tanto subiendo montañas como antes bajando a toda velocidad por las carreteras.
A lo largo de los años, he vivido en cinco países y he viajado por más de treinta, desde Costa Rica hasta Marruecos, Perú, Bosnia y muchos otros lugares. Cada viaje me ha enseñado algo nuevo sobre el mundo y sobre mí mismo.
Mi camino siempre ha estado guiado por la curiosidad y el amor por la naturaleza. Estudié Ciencias Ambientales en la Universidad de Salamanca y posteriormente impartí clases de la materia durante un año en la isla de Lanzarote. Después, dos años en Inglaterra despertaron en mí una nueva pasión: enseñar español a personas de todo el mundo. Esa pasión me llevó a San Sebastián, donde pasé cuatro maravillosos años como profesor de español.
Durante los últimos cuatro años he vivido en los Pirineos, persiguiendo otro sueño: convertirme en guía de montaña. Es donde me siento como en casa: cerca de la naturaleza, de la gente y de ese espíritu aventurero que me acompaña desde niño.
Por lo visto, soy un poco inquieto e infinitamente curioso, pero eso es lo que hace que la vida sea interesante.
