Hi, I’m Roberto – your guide, teacher, and adventure companion.
I’m someone who feels most alive while traveling. I’m a Spanish teacher for foreigners and a mountain guide, but more than anything, I’m an explorer — of landscapes, cultures, and the people who give them life.
I started cycling when I was three, and I’ve never really stopped. From age ten to twenty-five, I rode with several cycling teams and even reached a semi-professional level. Today, I still enjoy climbing mountains just as much as I once loved flying down roads at full speed.
Over the years, I’ve lived in five countries and traveled through more than thirty — from Costa Rica to Morocco, Peru, Bosnia, and many more. Every trip has taught me something new about the world and about myself.
Curiosity and a love of nature have always guided my journey. I studied Environmental Sciences at the University of Salamanca and later taught the subject for a year on the island of Lanzarote. Two years in England sparked a new passion: teaching Spanish to people from around the world. That passion took me to San Sebastián, where I spent four wonderful years as a Spanish teacher.
For the past four years, I’ve been living in the Pyrenees, pursuing another dream — becoming a mountain guide. It’s where I feel most at home: surrounded by nature, close to people, and connected to that adventurous spirit that has been with me since childhood.
I guess you could say I’m a bit restless and endlessly curious — but honestly, that’s what makes life interesting.
